Dangerous Goods

Dangerous goods (DG) are substances or articles that pose a risk to health, safety, property or the environment during transport. They are regulated by international codes for air (IATA DGR), ocean (IMDG) and road (ADR).

Classification

Every DG shipment requires a correct UN number, proper shipping name, class, packing group and — where applicable — a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS). The shipper is legally responsible for declaring cargo accurately.

What we need from you

  • Full product description and SDS
  • UN number and class
  • Quantity, packaging type and dimensions
  • Origin, destination and preferred mode (air / ocean / road)

Insurance

Standard freight insurance may exclude or limit DG. We recommend discussing cover with your insurer or broker before booking. We can coordinate compliant movement once documentation is approved by carriers.
